NBA first professional sports league to team up with StratBridge

NBA teams to utilize StratTix inventory management tool to further enhance ticket sales efforts

NEW YORK and BOSTON, April 24, 2006 — The National Basketball Association (NBA) has become the first professional sports league to team up with StratBridge, providing NBA teams with access to StratTix data analysis software to further enhance league-wide ticket sales.

Throughout the year, NBA teams will be able to utilize the latest technology for managing ticket inventory including access to graphical representations of sold and available in-arena seating, complete analysis of ticket sales and individual seating information for every game, and use of StratTix Premium service to access up-to-the-minute sales information at any time.

Last season the NBA set the all-time attendance record for the second consecutive season when 22,935,057 fans attended NBA regular and postseason games combined.

“The NBA has always looked to utilize the latest technology throughout all of our business areas,” said NBA Senior Vice President of Marketing and Business Operations Scott O’Neil. “StratTix is a great tool for our teams to continue to effectively manage ticket sales, identify new opportunities and grow their business.”

StratTix will also provide NBA teams with access to a predictive analytics tool that will offer valuable information on various team promotional strategies.

“The StratTix advanced analytical tools will allow NBA teams to further maximize ticket sales opportunities,” said StratBridge Founder and CEO Matt Marolda. “Giving teams additional tools to analyze current sales data while proactively addressing future game sales underscores the NBA’s commitment to every team’s success.”
